Some of the most damning evidence against Johnny Depp, most of which was suppressed or ignored by social media.

Amber Heard has years of time-stamped pictures documenting abuse, which all line up with the incidents of physical violence she describes. All proven by metadata. Abuse victims are told to document their injuries, and Amber did.

Here’s the infamous video of Depp slamming cabinets, smashing glasses, and kicking the door. The internet completely minimized this clear evidence of abuse.

Amber describes an assault in which Depp held her down on a countertop, and her arms were cut with glass. You can see the scars of those gashes on several red carpet and paparazzi pics after the alleged assault.

Destroying a victim's belongings or home is a common sign of abuse.

Depp destroyed Amber’s closet and vandalized paintings she owned that were painted by her ex.

The Finger

Depp’s biggest accusation against Amber is that she cut his finger off, but here he is on tape (in a private conversation with Amber) saying, “I’m talking about Australia the day that I chopped my finger off.”

Depp claims Amber Heard cut his finger off by throwing a vodka bottle at it. However, a hand surgeon testified that the medical records proved that to be impossible. Medical records also confirm that no glass was found in or around the wound.

Audio

Depp admits that he has to stay away in order not to get physical. He says, “a man would want to get out of that area so that he doesn’t get so fucking angry, and actually does pop the fucking wife.”

Audio of Amber telling Depp to put his cigarettes out on someone else, to which he responds, “shut up, fat ass.” This went viral on TikTok because people thought it was funny.

In this audio, Depp tells Heard to write him a letter every morning to remind him not to hurt her.

This audio confirms that Depp headbutted Amber.

Depp berates Amber for yelling “call the cops” to her friend (iO), who was on the phone while Depp was beating her.

In this audio, Amber confronts Depp about him hitting her while she’s helpless and on the floor.

In this audio, Depp yells at Amber and says, “don’t fucking pretend to be authoritative with me. You don’t exist.”

Here, Amber tells Depp she doesn’t like him drinking because it makes him go violent and sideways. He proceeds to tell her that it’s not because of the drinking or drugs, that it’s her that makes him that way.

Amber alleges that Depp was violent with her on his private island while he was detoxing. He confirms this when he says if he doesn’t leave, it will become “a blood bath” like it was “on the island.”

An abuser externalizes the causes of their behavior. They blame their violence on circumstances such as stress, their partner's behavior, a "bad day," alcohol, drugs, or other factors.

Documentation

After the infamous plane incident, Depp had his assistant Stephen Deuters text Amber an apology for him. He says, “When I told him he kicked you, he cried.” Stephen admits to this text conversation.

Depp sent texts about wanting to rape, drown, burn, and “smack around” Amber before they even got married.

Amber texted her mother in 2013 about Depp’s violence.

Amber also texted people about her injuries and sometimes would excuse them as “accidents.”

Perpetrators are often well respected or liked in their communities because they are charming and manipulative. This prevents people recognizing the abuse and isolates the victim further. The perpetrator often minimizes, denies, or blames the abuse on the victim. Victims may be ashamed or make excuses to themselves and others to cover up the abuse.

Johnny demands in an email to his manager that the production company delete all sex scenes and nudity in Amber’s movie “London Fields.”

Johnny instructed his private medical team to overmedicate Amber to “keep her under control.” (This same Dr. Kipper got his medical license taken away for overprescribing.)

Witnesses

Depp’s former business managers allege that Johnny had “gotten physical” and “violently kicked” Amber and knowingly tried to cover up it on at least one occasion.

“Are you fucking kidding me? He beat the shit out of her again, and you guys stood by and watched it.”

"All the perpetrator asks is that the bystander do nothing. He appeals to the universal desire to see, hear, and speak no evil. The victim, on the contrary, asks the bystander to share the burden of pain. The victim demands action, engagement, and remembering."

Amber reported the sexual violence and rape to a therapist throughout her relationship.

Depp’s own witnesses testify to seeing injuries on Amber.

Witness testimonies confirm Depp’s violent nature and his abuse of Amber.

A makeup artist recalls having to cover up Amber’s bruising and split lip with makeup before going on a talk show.

Post-Separation Abuse

Two months after Amber filed for divorce, they had a meeting in which Depp brought a knife with him and threatened to self-harm. He tells Amber to cut him or that he will do it himself, she refuses.

Threats to self-harm when an abuser is upset are psychological/emotional abuse.

In this same meeting, Depp threatens Amber by saying, “you wanna be cut? Do you? This is gonna go to court”.

Legal abuse is part of post-separation abuse and may include litigation tactics that shift blame to victims and reduce their credibility.

In an absolutely bizarre moment in court, Depp attempts to approach Amber as she steps off the stand but is blocked by a bailiff.

Depp makes a gun motion while Dr. Dawn Hughes testifies about the potential lethality of the relationship and says, “Mr. Depp’s threats to kill her.”

Threatening behavior– and an individual's perceived sense of threat based on the pattern of past violence they have experienced – may be largely invisible and not understood by professionals involved in court litigation.

In court, Amber not only faced Depp and his team. His fans filled the courtroom. Outside the courtroom, pro-Depp crowds gathered, the trial was televised, and an unavoidable smear campaign was launched on social media to vilify her. The jury was exposed to all of this.

Post-separation abuse includes isolating and discrediting the survivor through actions such as smear campaigns, spreading rumors about their mental health or harassment, and stalking to intimidate, create fear, and exert power over a survivor. These behaviors include unwanted contact or using third parties to harass.
